over 65% of my wagers are from just looking at the numbers and seeing them being off. I spend the other 90% of the time digging deeper to see how much value I perceive.

I'm on tenn for a number of reasons. and the 56% covering info on indi. isn't enough to sway me. We are all trying to win here ATX so any info would be great! If you could further explain that would be great. And I know you can't do write-ups on every game you play. I saw how many games you played last weekend. IT WOULD BE A PAIN IN THE ASS TO WRITE on ALL OF THEM!

TENN loses this game over 55% of the time, 2 points does not make a difference in many games. The oddsmaker is baiting the public with the +. And the public is taking it.
I dont really care that much what happens in the past, I focus on being predictive. I dont use a database very much, the historical numbers lead to backfitting error. Teams that have won the last several meetings I generally look to fade, as the value is on the other side.

I think just the last couple of weeks make me once again ask the question:

if what I do didnt work I wouldnt do it.
(say that as fast as you can about 10 times and maybe a light bulb will go off)
if what you do actually worked then I wouldnt make money.
I am taking the money from you, minus a small commission.
You know those 18,000 units in baseball that you lost, if you actually were betting I own a small percentage of that now.

so if its wins at a 56% clip without juice.. it means you'll show a profit year in year out of 1%.. meaning you'll make 10 bucks playing 100 a pop on the year..
